The
best way for us to illustrate the workmanship and skill that goes into our bespoke
kitchens is to take you through the full design process step by step:

Creating
your Bespoke kitchen
Each
kitchen is tailor-made to fit the requirements of your specific room. We do
not believe in set sizes or standard formats in the planning and construction
of each kitchen - how can we when every kitchen layout is naturally different?
Every component we use is built by ourselves, from the carcases and framed facias
to individual doors. The timber we use is carefully selected from managed forests
and then seasoned or kiln dried to accommodate the effects that modern central
heated houses can have on such beautiful woods.
We like to ensure that every one of our customers has a wide range of choice
when it comes to the style of kitchen and the crafted furniture within it. Hence
we have such a large range of timbers, carcase materials and finishes for you
to choose from and us to create with - ensuring coordination in terms of look
and style throughout your kitchen.
Full drawings are then prepared to show the plan and elevation views of your
kitchen, allowing you to see exactly what is proposed following the initial
site meeting. At this point, we can discuss in greater detail your choice of
applianceswithin the kitchen as well as the material for the worktops (granite,
solid timber or composite material).
Once the design has been finalised and approved by you, we take great care to
ensure that every detail of the plan is replicated within our crafting of your
kitchens components. You are welcome to visit our workshop or showroom at any
time to see the work in progress.
Using traditional methods of cabinet making, we can create internal and external
curved doors and frontages that look stunning and provide continuity between
rooms. All solid drawers are dovetailed together in the same matching timber
as the kitchens, and then fixed onto soft self closing drawer mechanisms. The
doors are then hung into the timber framework on solid drawn hinges to give
a truly long lasting and beautiful piece of furniture.
All of our doors are made from 32mm thick solid timber. This provides the doors
with a very solid and sturdy framework into which we can use thicker panels
than you would find in most standard kitchens, enabling us to offer a much wider
range of styles and finishes.
Thanks to our training and background, we can also offer a wide range of individual
joinery requirements, from entrance doors and staircases to traditional conservatories
and garden rooms.
